Recording update dpt:
A few updates on my upcoming classical recording: The third and final Bach partita album is now in final tracking. I had to take the year off to complete the new studio, but now everything's set to go.

Site is finally back up! There was a serious virus/hacker attack a while back and it took some time for me to get this sorted out with my web host. There were also some ftp issues with the move from the old web host format, but now everything's back on track.

A few clarification on the lack of updates: There have been a lot of personal family health issues this year that forced me to postpone the new Bach record. It will see release on the new year though.

I'm happy to announce that I've moved my regular guitar analysis column "classic phrases" over to the Blogger.com service. This will help my keep my updates much more regular and in depth insted of getting bogged down in html work. Special thanks to Benjamin torrey for dropping the suggestion. The column is now located at www.classic-phrase.blogspot.com. I will of course keep everything uplinked at my own site.

Transcription news: This week sees the premiere of my new regular transcription column, "CLASSIC PHRASES". I plan to transcribe some classic guitar solos culled from the last 25 years of heavy rock guitar recordings. My choices will be mostly based on some personal favourites, so the selection might be quirky - or not. We'll see! Anyway, check out the first installment which covers the Classic Steve Vai solo from "Going Crazy" off of "Eat em and smile".

Two new albums in the works: After completing the new studio I've been busy recording my first full-length insturmental album. I've also been laying down parts of the third Bach Partita album. Both are sounding great so far. Audio clips are forthcoming.

Howdy everyone... Truly sorry for the lack of updates. Been busy busy working for the major part of this year plus a lot of other extracurricular stuff taking up all free time. Some updates and more info are coming though, stay tuned.
